Airline Transport Pilot

The following flight course requirements are general and brief. Additional requirements can be found under the reference FAR (Federal Aviation Regulation) number next to the course title. We hope this summary will aid you in getting your license or rating.

 

Requirements Airline Transport Pilot Rating (FAR 61.156).

23 years of age
1500 hours total flight time.
250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
500 hours cross country flight time.
100 hours night time flight time.
75 hours of instrument flight time.
You must pass ATP written examination.
You must pass ATP Oral & Practical Flight Test
Class 1 medical Examination (needed for FAA sign off).
FAA sign off. Log Book Inspection by FAA.
