Private Pilots Course

The following flight course requirements are general and brief. Additional requirements can be found under the reference FAR (Federal Aviation Regulation) number next to the course title.

 Requirements for Private (FAR 61.83 & FAR 61.109)
16 years old for solo & 17 years old for Private Pilot's License
40 hours minimum total flight time. *
20 hours of this 40 hour course must be solo (alone).
10 hours of this 20 hours of solo must be cross country.
You must pass a 60 question Private Pilot Written Exam.
You must pass a Private Pilot Oral and Practical Flight Test

* National average private pilots license 70 hours flight time.

This course should be completed in 90 days or less.
